Earlier, ABDM Functional Testing had to be done through a private testing organisation. Now NHA has launched an FT AI Agent on the ABDM Developer Portal, so you can validate your complete ABDM implementation yourself, free of cost, and generate your FT Report.
To streamline and standardise the ABDM FT process, the ABDM Integration Support team at the National Health Authority (NHA) has built an FT AI Agent. Integrators can now independently validate their implementation against all mandatory test cases and compliance requirements.
FT was carried out by a private testing organisation, which meant a paid engagement, scheduling dependency and waiting time before you could move ahead.
You run FT yourself on the NHA FT AI Agent, free of cost, whenever you are ready, and generate the FT Report directly on completion.
Five simple steps, taken from NHA's own instructions to integrators.
Go to Build with AI on the ABDM Developer Portal and open the ABDM FT AI Agent.
Test your complete ABDM implementation end to end using the FT AI Agent.
Make sure every mandatory ABDM test case passes. Fix any failing flow and re-run until it is clean.
Once testing is complete, generate the FT Report from the agent.
Submit the generated report to the ABDM team for review and validation. After successful verification, your Functional Testing stage is complete.
FT checks that your integration works. WASA (Web Application Security Assessment) by a CERT-In empanelled auditor checks that it is secure. Bharat Cyber Solutions covers HIMS, PHR apps, Health Lockers, NHCX and Connectors for M1, M2 and M3 with a Sandbox Exit Ready approach, remote delivery, closure letter included.
Yes. NHA has provided the FT AI Agent on the ABDM Developer Portal so integrators can validate their own implementation at no cost, without hiring a private testing organisation.
According to the NHA notice, yes, it is mandatory for all entities that are pending ABDM Internal Review. NHA has asked pending integrators to complete it at the earliest.
The FT Report generated by the agent after all mandatory test cases pass. Share it with the ABDM team, who review and validate it.
FT and WASA are separate. FT covers functional behaviour, while WASA is the security assessment by a CERT-In empanelled auditor. Our ABDM WASA starts from ₹40,000 and goes up to about ₹70,000 depending on scope.
